Personalized recommendations are suggestions for toys, games, books and gear that we think you and the kids in your life will love!

We develop these recommendations based on:

  • the Perks profile you create and maintain—we ask about the kids you shop for most often and what they’re interested in
  • the types of items you purchase at Mastermind Toys stores and online

Then, we create lists of terrific toys, games, books and gear, and send them to you as our suggestions. Don’t miss out on these helpful hints and personalized recommendations. Be sure to opt-in to receive Perks updates!

Yes. If you already have a shopping account at mastermindtoys.com, simply add the items to your Gift List. You can even share these lists with friends and family.

Unfortunately, no. The Perks offers, promotions and rewards are members-only benefits and are non-transferable. However, we’re happy to introduce your family and friends to the Perks program so they can enjoy the benefits as well!! It’s free to join and available to everyone.

We will send Perks members heads-up messages when we have information on stock of new or hard-to-get items that may be of interest. So be sure to opt-in to receive Perks messages and we’ll send you the details as soon as we have them!

Signing up

It’s quick and easy to sign up online. You can also sign up in-store—we’ll then send you an email with instructions to complete your registration online.

If you signed up in-store, your account will be activated right away, however, you must complete the registration process online. Shortly after you sign up, you will receive an email to walk you through this process.

If you sign up online, it may take up to 24 hours for your account to become active and accessible in-store.

Make sure you are using the email address and mobile phone number you used to sign up.

No. Perks membership is FREE—there is no fee and no purchase necessary.

Any resident of Canada aged 18 or older can join Perks.

We use your email address as the unique identifier for your Perks account – you may share the same first and last name as another member, however your email address is yours alone. We also use your email address to maintain your Perks account and to communicate with you about the program.

You can opt -out of Perks emails at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any Perks email. Or, you can contact customer service at: 1.888.388.0000 ext. 2, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm ET.; or reach us any time at perkshelp@mastermindtoys.com.

We use your mobile phone number as an additional identifier in the Perks program, in place of a physical loyalty card. It’s an easy way for store staff to access your Perks account (rather than using your email address), and the most reliable contact point for most customers. It also allows us to send you Perks updates via text message, with your consent.

Yes, you may provide a home phone number, however you may not be eligible to receive text messages, even if you opt-in to receive them.

We use this information to help customize the Perks offers and recommendations we send you, ensuring that they’re really of interest to you and the kids in your life. (We also love to send birthday presents, hint-hint.) You choose to include as much, or as little, information as you wish. The more detailed your profile, the more relevant and useful your Perks offers and recommendations will be.

Technical Qs

We try to do our best to ask all of our guests if they’re a Perks member before completing each transaction, but if you’ve completed the process, you can ask the store associate to process a refund and re-start the transaction with your member information.

Start by signing in to your Perks account. Then select “My Account”. From there, you can change and confirm your new password.

If you’ve forgotten your password and can’t sign in, hit the “Forgot my password” link on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and we’ll send you an email with a link to securely create a new password.

You can do all of this through your Perks account. Sign in, then select “My Account”. Here you’ll find links to manage everything related to your account and save any changes.
